CBD HEMP OIL BENEFITS

There are a variety of cbd benefits,  but what is CBD? Cannabidiol (CBD) is the principal non-psychoactive cannabinoid present largely in the Hemp plant. Beyond being not psychoactive, CBD is a powerful anti-psychotic drug and valuable for anyone with psychosis or schizophrenia. CBD has been shown to be a better anti-inflammatory than THC and Ibuprofen, it is also effective treating pain and managing tumors. CBD has a wide range of therapeutic uses ranging from physical ones like pain relief to mental ones like relief of anxiety and depression. Due to the fact that it is non-psychoactive and strongly medicinal even in small doses, CBD is highly recommended for treatment of children, the elderly, and anyone who wants to remain clear headed yet medicated. Our hemp products are considered nutritional supplements or personal care and beauty products, according to federal guidelines. CBD hemp oil products are commonly used as a dietary supplement to help support overall health. BRAIN DISORDERS and CBD Oil

CBD Oil, the non-psychoactive component of the marijuana plant has been shown to have beneficial effects, particularly in disorders of the brain, including some brain cancers.  It is along the lines of medical marijuana but there is no “high” and it is completely legal.  CBD Oil is an herbal supplement, not a prescription drug, but rather a simple compound found in a simple plant.   There is a case of a 3-year-old girl from Florida who is battling brain cancer and has shown marked improvement with the use of CBD Oil. The child had endured months of treatment but was still suffering with issues of pain and brain damage brought on by the surgeries and chemotherapy.  After hearing about CBD Oil and deciding to try it the girl’s mother stated that the very first night her daughter tried it she was able to sleep through the night for the first time in her life. Other uses for CBD Oil in relation to brain disorders have been shown in children with certain types of epilepsy and other seizure disorders.  The success that was shown in these patients initially in reducing the severity and number of seizures is what prompted the development of plant strains which are higher in CBD Oil than in THC (the chemical which causes the “high” you get when smoking marijuana). According to a recent study by the University of Kentucky, cannabidiol (CBD Oil) can cause physiological brain changes the help to offset the damage caused by chronic alcoholism, essentially reversing the effects of alcohol-induced brain damage.  CBD Oil has also been shown to be an effective treatment for those individuals suffering severe social anxiety.  Study authors state that the CBD treatment has advantages over standard treatments such as anti-depressants in that it is quick to act and does not have side effects or cause withdrawal symptoms. A clinical trial in Germany showed CBD Oil to be as effective in treating schizophrenia as traditional antipsychotic medications, again without side effects. More and more clinical studies are being done on other potential benefits of CBD Oils.  A lot of the information currently available is testimony from current users of CBD Oil through their own experiences with it.

ALZHEIMER’S DISEASE, CAN CBD HELP?

Alzheimer’s is a progressive neurological disease which causes people to forget skills, familiar faces  and simple tasks.  Many of the current drugs prescribed for Alzheimer’s patients have been proven to be ineffective and have many undesirable side effects.  Recent research indicates that chronic inflammation is instrumental as a cause of Alzheimer’s.  As plaque builds the ability of neurons to send signals is blocked, ultimately triggering cell death through arterial inflammation.  CBD has been tested and shown to be a powerful anti-inflammatory and to promote the growth of new brain cells, making it a good candidate for study in treating Alzheimer’s. Scientists have identified that CBD oil can counter some chemical imbalances in the brain.  This discovery could be useful in developing treatments for a number of disorders such as Alzheimer’s Disease and Parkinson’s Disease.  The main chemical identified is iron.  Even though iron is an essential nutrient high levels of iron can damage brain cells and lead to symptoms such as the memory loss of Alzheimer’s.   Abnormal levels of iron have also been linked to the progression of Parkinson’s. Using CBD oil researchers in Brazil studying rats were able to reverse markers of brain damage caused by high iron levels and basically restore them to normal levels.  The scientists concluded that CBD has great potential in restoring brain function and protecting the brain from any further damage.  As iron has been shown to cause degeneration of the brain by aiding oxidative stress, CBD is known to have powerful antioxidant properties and is a promising candidate for treating disease such as Alzheimer’s and possibly Parkinson’s. Additional studies were conducted by a team of Australian scientists which also lead many to believe more consideration should be given to cannabinoids for development of future treatments and possible cures for Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, Huntington’s and other conditions that cause loss of cognitive ability. These studies were done on mice suffering from memory loss.  After treatment with CBD the mice showed signs of regaining cognitive ability.  Basically, the performance of the mice was brought back to the level of a healthy animal. More research needs to be done to further determine the actual cause of the degeneration of the brain and its ability to process and maintain memory. It has been previously shown that accumulated iron in the brain is a probable culprit which, according to studies, tampers with the generation of neurons in the brain.  CBD helps in neurogenesis, generating new neurons in the part of the brain that forms and stores memories, the hippocampus. Neurons also help in the transmission of messages throughout the nervous system.  Much more research will need to be done, but with approximately 5 million American’s suffering from Alzheimer’s, 1 million suffering from Parkinson’s and another 500,000 patients suffering from other neurodegenerative diseases it is very important the find treatments and/or cures for these types of diseases.  As our population ages these numbers will likely increase since many of these types of neurodegenerative diseases affect the elderly in greater numbers than the young

Vaporizing CBD Oil Based Vape

CBD hemp oil is a compound in cannabis (marijuana) with medical effects that is legal in  the US.  The oil can be ingested orally as a dietary supplement, but it can also be used in what is called a vaporizer.  A vaporizer can come in several varieties such as table-top or portable, digital or hands-free.  Although we are discussing the oil version of CBD it is also available for use in a vaporizer in wax form and as a dry herb.  Using a vaporizer with CBD oil is called vaping.  There haveup until now been few studies on vaporizing CBD. In one study it was found that due to the evaporation temperature of CBD it can be released as a gas without having to burn the plant matter, which is why the oil is used.  This also helps avoid any irritation from smoking. During the study it was discovered that the maximum optimal dose of CBD that could be vaporized efficiently was 200 mg.  This is, of course, sometimes dependent on the particular vaporizer and how efficiently it heats.   CBD (Cannabidiol) is derived from the industrial hemp plant and has been shown to be helpful for health issues such as pain relief, anxiety relief, relaxation, sleeping better and well-being, as well as diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis, diabetes, epilepsy and cancer, amongst others.  It has many of the same properties as medical marijuana in that it has both healing and mood enhancing properties, but is 100% legal and contains no THC, which is the psychotropic portion of marijuana.  You will not get high using CBD oil! Vaping the CBD oil eliminates a lot of the smell that you get from smoking other forms.  For use in a vaporizer you can get the CBD oil flavored and it can be used in a vaporizer pen. The pen is portable and easy to transport versus the bulkier tabletop vaporizers.  All of the types of vaporizers use a battery of some type (or an electrical cord if a tabletop version), a charger, an atomizer.

CBD Oil: WHAT IS IT GOOD FOR?

CBD Oil is a compound found in cannabis (marijuana) that does not cause the “high” usually associated with another compound in marijuana, THC.  CBD is the second most abundant cannabinoid in marijuana.  A cannabinoid is a chemical which activates naturally occurring cannabinoid receptors in the body. Scientific research has been (and is being) conducted which has shown the many health benefits of CBD.  Due the high demand by medical users, growers of both medical marijuana and industrial hemp have started to cultivate plants strains that are CBD-rich instead of the previously desired high THC varieties.   CBD has actually even been shown to counteract some of the side effects of THC, such as the “munchies.” Like THC increases the appetite, CBD suppresses it.  At some point in the future, CBD may even be incorporated into a weight-loss drug.  One exception to the appetite-suppression properties exhibited by CBD is in those with anxiety or stress that makes it difficult for them to eat because due to its sedative effect the CBD aids in calming the anxiety, helping to get rid of the sick feelings in their stomach or chest that is preventing them from eating normally.   CBD oil has also been shown to be anti-inflammatory and animal studies in mice have shown that it reduced inflammation associated with a version of rheumatoid arthritis.  CBD could be used for treating symptoms of rheumatoid arthritis and other autoimmune diseases.  Another study with mice showed that when given a dose of CBD immediately following a heart attack the infarct size was reduced by more than 60%.  Additionally, another study using mice showed the ability of CBD to block the development of diabetes.  Several other animal studies have been done showing CBD Oil can prevent metastasis of breast cancer cells. A small scale study done in Brazil showed that adding CBD to the anticonvulsants used by epilepsy patients reduced or stopped the seizures they experienced.  More animal research studies and eventually human clinical trials will need to be completed before mainstream medicine accepts CBD oil as a viable medicine, but judging by the increased demand by patients these will be coming in the not so distant future. what is CBD ?

CBD stands for CANNABIDIOL – The most eminent naturally-occurring and most abundant non-psychoactive cannabinoid component found in cannabis that comprises up to 40% of the plant. The only most important cannabinoid ever discovered. It is commonly used as a dietary supplement to help support overall health. CBD is the most studied natural cannabinoid. According to many researchers, CBD may be the single most important cannabinoid ever discovered. The cannabis plant is a unique source of more than 70 structurally-related, plant-derived cannabinoids. Although one cannabinoid is known to have psychoactive effects associated with the use of illicit herbal cannabis, none of the other cannabinoids are known to cause intoxication. In recent decades, there have been major scientific advances that have led to the discovery of new plant-derived cannabinoids and a cannabinoid receptor system in the human body, or endocannabinoid system.

WHAT IS ENDOCANNABINOID SYSTEM OR ECS?

CBD advantages to the human body are one of science’s newest and most exciting discoveries. ECS plays a fundamental role in the functioning of many of the major human physiological systems, including the nervous and immune systems. It regulates relaxation, eating, sleeping certain inflammation responses and even cognitive function. There are two types of cannabinoid receptors found throughout the body – CB1 and CB2. However, they are most abundant in the brain and immune system respectively. Our ECS is responsible for making sure that our body in functioning at an optimal level. ARE CBD AND THC THE SAME? NO-these are different compounds but they are both cannabinoids. THC is the cannabinoid that makes you high or stoned while CBD is not psychoactive unlike THC. It won’t get you “high”.  All products on this website contain less than .3% THC, therefore making it legal in all 50 U.S. States and many countries.

IS THIS LEGAL and WHERE CBD PRODUCTS CAME FROM?

Industrial hemp derived cannabidiol CBD products are legal to buy, possess, consume, and sell in the United States as well as many other countries. Our importer imports its raw industrial hemp oil under approved tariff codes to its FDA-registered and GMP certified facility in the United States. Industrial hemp products that have been imported through the proper means are exempt from the marijuana and THC laws in Schedule I of the DEA. Hemp grown within the United States would not be compliant with federal regulations – hence why our supply is sourced from out of the country. Please check your country’s legal status of cannabidiol (CBD) before ordering with us. It is your responsibility to know your country’s laws before ordering with us, we are not liable for knowing the status of cannabidiol (CBD) in every country. Due to the fact that the FDA considers Hemp and Hemp-derived cannabinoids (including CBD) to be food-based products there is no legal restrictions on their importation or consumption in the United States and in most of the industrialized world. Non-psychoactive hemp is NOT included in Schedule I of the Controlled Substance Act. hemp is legal to import, sell, and consume in the United States. Our hemp products are considered food or dietary supplements, and our CBD is a natural constituent of the hemp plant/hemp seed and stalk oil and is not synthetic or artificial; therefore, our naturally-derived, industrial hemp-bases CBD is exempt from Schedule I just as any other constituent of non-psychoactive industrial hemp is. The United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit in Hemp Industries Assn., v. Drug Enforcement Admin., 357 F.3d 1012 (9th Cir. 2004), recognized that “non-psychoactive hemp [that] is derived from the ‘mature stalks’ or is ‘oil and cake made from the seeds’ of the Cannabis plant,…fits within the plainly stated exception to the CSA definition of marijuana.” Id. at 1017. As such, the court determined that the government (i.e. DEA) has no authority under current law to completely ban “THC that is found within the parts of Cannabis plants that are excluded from the CSA’s definition of ‘marijuana’ or that is not synthetic.” Id. at 1018. Industrial hemp is legal to import under the Controlled Substances Act (CSA). Since 1937, the federal statute controlling marijuana has excluded the stalk, fiber, oil and sterilized seed of the plant Cannabis saliva L., commonly known as hemp, from the definition of marijuana. 21 U.S.C. 802 (16), and again in reference to 2-6-04 Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals ruling.

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN MARIJUANA AND CBD?

Scientifically and genetically CBD Hemp and Marijuana can be the same plant but there is a lot of difference between the two. CBD Hemp is always cannabis sativa while marijuana can be cannabis sativa, cannabis indica or cannabis ruderalis. The major difference is how the CBD hemp has been bred compared to a marijuana from cannabis sativa. . CBD hemp is very fibrous, with long strong stalks, and barely has any flowering buds, while a marijuana strain of Cannabis sativa will be smaller, bushier, and full of flowering buds. Marijuana, 99% of the time, has a high amount of THC and only a very low amount of CBD. CBD Hemp, on the other hand, naturally has a very high amount of CBD, and naturally has a low, trace amount of THC. Fortunately, the cannabinoid profile of CBD hemp is ideal for people looking for cannabis benefits without getting “high”.   WILL CBD HELP ME WITH MY ILLNESS? Due to federal regulations, we cannot make claims about whether or not CBD-rich hemp oil can help with specific ailments. We do, however, suggest that you conduct your own research.

Study confirms CBD as a treatment option for heroin addiction

A weaning of heroin is difficult. Moreover, it is a physical and psychological torment that can be dangerous to the body. Therefore, the cold withdrawal without medical supervision can sometimes be risky. Cannabidiol (CBD) has already fueled hopes in the US regarding legal, opioid-based drugs, perhaps overriding the national opioid crisis. In recent years, more and more people have become dependent on prescribed medicines. New research now confirms that CBD has the potential to help heroin addicts too.   Cannabidiol and opioid addiction The study by the Mount Sinai School of Medicine, published in the American Journal of Psychiatry, examined the effect of cannabidiol on people with heroin use disorder. The promising results make CBD a potential component of future heroin-addicted cessation measures. To the same degree, CBD is also suitable for the treatment of people who are dependent on other opioids.   In animal experiments one could already achieve success with cannabidiol in Opioidsucht in the past. Therefore, they have now carried out a series of experiments on humans. Since many psychosocial factors can be responsible for dependence, long-term use or even relapses after successful withdrawal in humans, the results of animal experiments are not necessarily transferable.   CBD takes addict the fear and the desire In the course of the new, double-blind study, 42 men and women were dependent on heroin. Participants were given a daily oral CBD solution. After three consecutive days of CBD intake and concomitant heroin abstinence, anxiety and drug cravings were significantly reduced. Randomly, patients received 400 mg or 800 mg CBD solution a day.   The placebo group was exempted, they were of course no drug. Subjects were routinely confronted with heroin by showing syringes, rubber bands, or other utensils to remind them of their consumption. Meanwhile, the heart rate and salivary cortisol levels have been measured. Cortisol is considered a stress hormone. In stress situations the body produces this hormone intensified. Compared to the patients in the placebo group, both physiological measurements were reduced in subjects who received CBD.   Fight cannabidiol to relapse into addiction The study author and director of the Mount Sinai Addiction Institute in New York. Yasmin Hurd stresses the urgent need for new treatment options for millions of people who depend on opioids of all kinds. Therefore, she initiated the study to evaluate the potential of a safe cannabinoid for the symptoms of withdrawal in heroin addicts.   Here, anxiety disorders and the irrepressible desire for the substance play the biggest role and lead to high relapse rates. CBD promises, Dr. Hurd to become a great value for the future treatment of heroin addiction. Not only does the action alone qualify the cannabinoid for this use, but that CBD is non-toxic and harmless, and moreover has no own addictive potential.   Source:  GLASMANN, Dieter Klaus. Recent study on the effectiveness of CBD in cancer

In a recent study, English scientists investigated the effects of cannabidiol on tumor growth in cancer patients - with promising results. The special feature: The study was carried out on humans.   Meanwhile, cannabidiol is often referred to as a medical all-rounder. The medicinal properties of cannabinoid can significantly enhance well-being and, when taken regularly, have a major health benefit. Unlike THC, it does not look psychoactive, meaning you do not have to worry about influencing the mind. CBD has no effect on motor skills and is legally available in Germany as a dietary supplement.   The World Health Organization (WHO) also classifies cannabidiol as a harmless substance.   Most studies on the efficacy of CBD have been performed in vitro, ie in test tubes, or on animals. English scientists have now tested the efficacy of cannabinoid in cancer on human subjects - with promising results.   Study on the effects of cannabidiol on cancer cells A total of 119 patients with advanced metastases participated in the study [1] and received synthetic cannabidiol in the form of an oil at a concentration of 5%. Each drop contained 1mg of synthetic CBD in a neutral oil.   To test the efficacy of the treatment, a circulating tumor cell (CTC) test was performed at the beginning and at the end of the study. Patients received the CBD oil for three days, followed by a three-day break. The average dose was 10mg per day, but adjusted to the status of the disease. The minimum duration of application was six months. 28 patients were treated with synthetic cannabidiol only. Other participants also took cannabis products or, due to illness, other medications.   The result: In 92% of the patients a clinically significant reaction could be observed. Despite the relatively small number of participants, an observable change in 92% of the subjects is quite meaningful. In some subjects even a decrease of the metastases could be observed. Others benefited from stopping the spread of cancer cells. None of the 119 patients had side effects.   Unfortunately, while 92% of the respondents responded to treatment with synthetic CBD, this does not mean that cannabidiol is the new natural wonder weapon in the treatment of cancer cells.   The authors of the study concluded that CBD is a potential treatment option for patients with breast cancer or glioblastomas. Especially when conventional therapies have no effect. Overall, more studies are needed to better assess the effect of CBD as a potential cancer drug.   CBD as a natural complementary treatment method In conventional cancer therapy, chemotherapy, radiation, immune or hormone treatments are used to stop tumor growth. Such "therapies" are extremely expensive and sometimes associated with severe side effects.   The use of cannabidiol is considered to be very safe and it can only come to interactions with special drugs that can be excluded in advance but very well. Experience has shown that CBD has been used to treat the side effects of cancer therapy. Many cancer patients report how CBD has helped to increase their appetite. Also in alleviating vomiting and nausea, CBD showed promising therapeutic potential.   Although it was conducted only with 119 participants, the results of the study nevertheless have a high significance. In 92% of the participants a clinical change of the metastases could be observed and although none of them could be completely cured, the results provide important arguments for the further investigation of possible medical applications of cannabidiol.   Source:  GLASMANN, Dieter Klaus. THCV: What is this rare cannabinoid?

The cannabis plant contains more than 100 different cannabinoids. One of them is tetrahydrocannabivarin (THCV), which differs from other, better-known drugs such as THC and CBD because of its unique effect.   Although cannabidiol is becoming more and more popular, many people still think of cannabis primarily as psychoactive THC. The drug has great medicinal potential and can help us fall asleep or influence the concentration of neurotransmitters so that pain is less intense.   Unfortunately, ingesting too much THC is also associated with negative effects such as anxiety, an increased risk of developing psychosis or depression and, of course, increased hunger. In addition, researchers now believe that long-term use may reduce attention, weaken short-term memory, and limit motor skills.   Although each active substance of the hemp plant has its own medically valuable properties, the various cannabinoids provide for their individual effect through their interaction. For example, by balancing the psychoactive THC. In addition, organisms seem to benefit most from the effects of as many cannabinoids as possible.   The properties of THCV THCV is considered relatively rare and difficult to extract. The boiling point of cannabinoids is about 220 ° C, so it must be heated more than THC. In the human body, THCV has a psychoactive effect that can increase the effect of THC. However, in contrast to the main psychoactive substance, THCV is only half as long.   THCV can suppress appetite. The potentially appetite-suppressing effect could be of interest to overweight patients. Patients who have problems with food intake, for example due to chemotherapy, should be advised to abstain from using it. In addition, it has been found that THCV has a stimulating effect and can sharpen the mind.   Scientists are currently investigating the properties of THCV in the treatment of diabetes - with promising results. THC appears to have beneficial effects on the regulation of blood sugar levels and the reduction of insulin resistance.   THVC is found in almost all cannabis strains, sometimes even in a very high concentration. In tests it could be proven that some varieties from the Asian region or African landrace sometimes even have a THCV content of more than 50%. In the breeding of most varieties, however, the content of THCV does not play a major role.   Research into the medical potential of THCV is still in its infancy. The results so far, however, give a promising insight into the properties of the cannabinoid and give hope that in the future even more evidence for the effectiveness of the targeted application of the drug can be collected.     Source:  BOEDEFELD, Christian. Pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics of cannabinoids

How do cannabinoids in the human body and what influence do they have on the organism? Pharmacologists have been dealing with this question for a long time. Already a few years ago, Dr. Franjo Grotenhermen summarized his thoughts on the subject in a scientific article.   Dr. Franjo Grotenhermen is a practicing physician and is considered an expert in the treatment of cannabis. This is not only shown by numerous scientific publications and book publications. The general practitioner is a highly respected speaker at various cannabis events, where he lectures on cannabis in medicine. In addition, he is an important part of the Working Group on Cannabis as Medicine (ACM). The working group offers interested parties the possibility of independent counseling and further education on the medical use of cannabis. At www.cannabis-med.org you can find information about cannabis in medicine, science, law and politics.   Pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics Pharmacokinetics is a branch of pharmacology that deals with the effects, distribution and metabolism of a consumed drug in the body as a function of time. This includes all processes that a substance undergoes in the body. Including the absorption of the active substance, distribution in the body, biochemical processing and excretion.   In contrast, pharmacodynamics deals with the influence of a drug on the organism or what biochemical and physiological effects it has on the body. The pharmacodynamic effects of a drug can be subdivided into desirable and undesired effects.   Cannabinoids In simple terms, cannabinoids interact with receptors of the endocannabinoid system (ECS), which are found in important organs, in the brain, the immune system or in the central nervous system, among other things. This affects the concentration of certain neurotransmitters in the ECS, which has a special effect.   Of particular interest for the pharmacological effect of cannabis is THC or delta (9) -tetrahydrocannabinol. In addition, the acidic metabolite THC-COOH, the non-psychoactive cannabidiol (CBD), several cannabinoid-like substances and newly discovered modulators of the body's cannabinoid system, which have promising potential for the therapeutic use of cannabis.   The effect of cannabinoids is mainly due to the activation of G-protein-coupled cannabinoid receptors in the brain and peripheral tissues. There are also indications of receptor-independent mechanisms. Usually, cannabinoids are dissolved and inhaled or cannabis products taken orally. Rectal use, sublingual or transdermal application, and eye drops as an application have only been studied in a few studies and are of little importance in today's practice.   The pharmacokinetics of THC vary depending on the mode of administration. In the case of pulmonary uptake of THC, the concentration of the active substance content in the blood plasma can be measured within minutes; psychotropic effects are noticeable within seconds to less minutes. They reach a maximum after 25-30 minutes and gradually decrease within 2-3 hours. When taken orally, the psychoactive effect begins after 30-90 minutes. It reaches its maximum after 2-3 hours and lasts about 4-12 hours depending on the dose and specific effects.   In doses that exceed the psychotropic threshold, cannabis intake usually results in increased well-being and relaxation with an intensified perception of common sensory experiences. The main acute side effects of overdose include anxiety and panic attacks, as well as physical symptoms such as increased heart rate and blood pressure changes.   It can not be ruled out that regular cannabis use can lead to mental dependency and mild withdrawal symptoms. Controversial are the occurrence and intensity of possible long-term harmful effects on psyche and perception, the immune system, fertility and pregnancy.   The indicators of medical use of cannabis include, but are not limited to, pain relief, muscle relaxation, immunosuppression, sedation, mood enhancement, appetite enhancement, intraocular pressure reduction, bronchodilation, neuroprotection and initiation of cancer cell death.   Source:  BOEDEFELD, Christian.
